Gagarin Square is the heart of Unity City. The monument to the conquerors of Space, standing in its center, represents the city's spirit: striding boldly towards the path to space, climbing courageously.
Gagarin Square is also surrounded by many important buildings of Unity City. These include the United Territory Management Committee Building, a Y-shaped Brutalist building strikingly similar in appearance to the United Territory's emblem: the United Territory Guesthouse, a magnificent building whose design evokes the equally magnificent "Seven Sisters" skyscrapers that once graced Earth.
The United Territory Museum, Opera House, Science Museum and Library are also located around Gagarin Square. These places serve as important bridges between Earth and Nox cultures, introducing Ruvila's culture and history to Earthlings and educating Nox people about Earth's current state and technology. During the Space Race, all Earth books and films intended for Ruvilian people underwent rigorous screening, ensuring they promoted Earth's progress, peace and unity, preventing extraterrestrial friends from developing the false impression that Earthlings are bloodthirsty and warlike. These works especially emphasize that although the Ruvilian Council's army defeated the Royalist army with only a small number of Earth weapons, military technology was merely a trivial skill among Earth's technologies. Earthlings devoted more of their intelligence and wisdom to making life better and their spirits more fulfilling.
